***UPDATE***February 23,2010...Absolute is happy to announce we are in the final stages with Terry Mcdonald and his wife, Alllison to to get the renovation of their new home in Libertyville, Illinois underway! Absolute Restoration will not only be responsiable for the general contracting of the renovation and restoration of their home, but will be performing a substantial amount of the work. Final details and the scope of work are being fine tuned as we speak. Also the Bolingbrook restoration is going along as smoothly as possible. Progress is being made daily! We anticipate to have all drywall finshed and painted in this 3800 square foot home complete by Feb 27th, then moving on into trim and 3 bathroom restoration phaze after that.
***UPDATE***February 9, 2010...Absolute Resoration is excited to announce that we have joined the Kenosha area chamber of commerce. We will be attending the commerce expo at Parkside College on Feburary 13th and 14th with members of the ACR Restoration staff. We at Absolute are proud to be laying roots down in Kenosha and are proud to be part of this community... thank you for the acceptance into the chamber of commerce. We are honored to support what we believe is a fantastic organaztion and vow to maintain a membership in good standing.
We are very happy to be back in full swing at the Bollingbrook job. All hvac, electrical, plumbing improvements and code updates have been completed and approved by the village. We will be moving along with the renovation face at a brisk pace and plan to be 100 % completed in 4-6 weeks.
***UPDATE***January 23, 2010...Absolute would like to thank Dr. Joel Heller for yet more referrals to Absolute Restoration. We are very honored to know that he believes in us enough to refer us to other people and companies. Koenig Strey is a realtor of fine properties all over the southeast Wisconsin and Chicagoland area. Also we would like to thank him for the referral of Tom Barron of Waukegan, IL . We are in talks with him to gut and remodel 2 bathrooms in his home. Thanks again, Dr Heller.
***UPDATE***January 20, 2010...We would like to thank Stanley Ambrose for the return business. We just finished enlarging the entryway to home to accomodate for wheel chair access we are also installing ADA type hand rails . Unfortunately these will be on going improvments. We are glad to see Stanley back home and making marked improvement in his condition. We are pulling for his full recovery. Absolute would also like to thank Dr. Joel Heller for his return business. We are removing all existing walls on his Lake Michigan property, including weight bearing points and installing concealed beams to open the house to the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. The only walls to be left intact are going to be the bathroom and bedroom walls. We will also be relocating the stair access and will be installing spiral stairs and custom closet doors, weighing 250lbs a piece. We will also be completing his other home, as his doors finally came in from back order. We will also begin drywalling and taping/finishing the drywall on Jim and Shari Barrett's investment property on 1/27.

So come on out, support your favorite charity and say hi. We will be running the streets of Kenosha training until March 21 st. and then as we say, We will see you at the finish line!
***UPDATE***January 13, 2010...On Saturday, January 9th, we had our 2nd walk through inspection on Terry McDonald and his wife Allison's potential new home. We're preparing our proposal and will be turning it in by mid week. Hopes are high on all sides that this will come together. The scope of the job involves a total renovation and gut, including roof, re-piping of the home, complete electrical over haul including a re-running of service from the pole to buried underground. There will also be a completly new HVAC system replacement and re-wrapping of all aluminum, gutter replacement, siding will be removed and replaced, and 22 windows removed and replaced . 3 new bathrooms will be installed as well as a complete kitchen replacement. We will also remove and replace the entire 1st floor of hardwood flooring. All of the plaster throughout the house will be removed and replaced with drywall. Support headers will be installed to enlarge 2 rooms. Also masonry issues will be addressed and the basement will be finished. We appreciate being the contractor that Terry and Allison called for consultation. We we hope we are the contractor that helps makes this house a home for you and your family.
***UPDATE***January 8,2010...Absolute will begin working on Jim and Shari Barrette's new investment property. We will be starting slow by turning an attic into a sizable bedroom and living area and then re-framing some of the floor. We will be starting that on 1-08-10. Absolute would like to thank Jim and Shari for the repeat buisness over the last couple of years. We were surprised to discover that this house was purchased next door to another great client of ours, Brian Rodiger. We seem to be rebuilding much of 28th Ave and 31st Ave. Thanks again guys. We will also be returning to Stanley Ambrose's home to perform some more on going ADA updates... Then after many false starts due to utiites company and other unforseen delays, we will be finally returning to Bolingbrook. On the 7th at 2 p.m., we had a contractors and home inspection meeting to discuss Terry McDonald's potetial new home. We are all excited to be involved.
***UPDATE***January 2, 2010...Absolute Restoration is very excited to announce we are in talks with Terry McDonald( owner of Kenosha's "Wine Knot") www.wine-knot.com to renovate Terry's potential new home in Libertyville, Illinois. Absolute would be overseeing the entire project and performing a substantial amount of the work . The scope of the job will include but will not be limited to: Removal of current boiler system to be replaced with forced air HVAC. An electrical overhaul and update of the entire home. Plumbing updates, sanding of hardwood floors, kitchen renovation, finish basement, fresh paint throughout the entire home and various other carpentry improvements. We have also received blueprints from Dr. Joel Heller for the renovation of his Pleasant Prairie home. We will know in the coming in days when we will be moving ahead on Dr. Heller's home.
